Hitman 3’s Latest 4K Trailer Shows Off New Features

Hitman III

It seems like Agent 47 never ages.

Seriously. Maybe the reason that he’s such an iconic and memorable character is because he’s looked exactly the same since his conception. He’s the Patrick Stewart of video game characters. I digress. Let’s discuss Hitman 3.

IO Interactive has just released a new trailer for its upcoming stealth/action game Hitman 3, which is set to release on January 20th, 2021.

The trailer shows Agent 47 in all his bald-headed glory using his incredible stealth abilities to kill his targets. Players will recognise some of the ways they’ve been able to take out targets in the past – sniper rifles, pushing them off building, stabbing them in the neck – along with some brand new ways too. A new camera feature allows players to open locks and analyse their performance post-mission. Playstyles also make a return, which reward players based on how they approach completing a mission.

With a PS5 and Xbox Series X release, Hitman 3 is set to bring the series to new heights.  It will support 4K visuals, 60 fps, HDR and lightning fast load times. It also makes use of a special ‘crowd technology’ from Glacier which allows up to 300 NPCs in an area at any one time. Missions will feel more exhilarating than ever as a result.

Players will be able to import locations from previous games in the trilogy in order to have 20+ locations unlocked. This makes it easy to enjoy the graphical improvements of the new generation consoles in one place.

Hitman 3 will release on January 20th for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC. It will also support PlayStation VR and will release for Nintendo Switch via the cloud at a later date.
