The 15th anniversary edition of Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy pushes to a 2021 release.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of 2020, many games have been delayed until next year. As avid gamers, we’d rather see teams take their time making their games the best they can be. No one wants a rushed title that isn’t ready.
Publisher Meridiem Games recently announced that the 15th anniversary edition of 2005’s Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy has been delayed due to “last minute manufacturing reasons.” There isn’t a new projected release date just yet, but the team believes that the game will be ready in early 2021.
I first played Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy 3 years ago. As a fan of Quantum Dream, the team behind Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human, it was only natural that I play one of its earlier titles. While the graphics are rather outdated, it’s easy to see why players loved the game so much. It follows multiple characters whose paths all intertwine together to create an exciting, suspenseful tale.
The 15th Anniversary Edition, a physical PS4 release, will include a brand new case and sleeve. It will also include a sticker set, high quality printed artbook and a thank-you letter from the Quantic Dream team. The game will retail for £24.99.
Fahrenheit: 15th Anniversary Edition is available for pre-order from select retailers which you can find over on the Meridiem Games website.
