It’s time to give your The Sims 4 characters an all-over makeover.
Since its release in 2014, The Sims 4 has continually grown in popularity and scale. Endless expansions have come to the game, and developer Maxis has continually supported it with free updates. The latest update focuses on character customisation. From today, over 100 skin tones have been added to The Sims 4, making customisation better than ever.
When you next log into The Sims 4, you’ll see the customisation interface looks a bit different than before. Every skin tone now has a value slider which lets you choose the perfect skin tone for your character. There are new tones as well as improvements to old skin tones.
Additionally, new makeup sliders allow players to customise how much makeup their sims wear. You can also choose how bright and noticeable that makeup is. Some of these sliders are currently still locked while the team works on optimising the experience, but they should be fixed in the future.
There have also been some improvements for hairstyles. Three base hairstyles, two children’s hairstyles and the flat-top texture hairstyle have been updated.
Lastly, the main menu for the game has changed a bit to make it easier for players to stay up to date on all things related to The Sims 4.
If you’re looking forward to seeing these new changes in action, log into The Sims 4 right now to try them out for yourself!
