Wattam, a quirky action game from the creator of the Katamari Damacy series, is coming to Steam on December 18th.
Wattam was released on PC and Playstation 4 last December, but the PC incarnation was an Epic Store exclusive. Now, a year later, it’ll be available through the Steam store, so, if you’ve been turning your nose up at Epic’s storefront, now’s your chance to get your hands on this odd little action game.
Wattam was designed by Keita Takahashi, creator of the first two Katamari games, developed by Funomena and published by Annapurna Interactive. It shares the Katamari series’ odd, adorable aesthetic which was also applied to Takahashi’s Noby Noby Boy.
Switching between a wealth of strange characters, Wattam sees you using friendship to restore a forgotten world to its former, bizarre glory. We gave it a big thumbs up with our review, saying “if Wattam doesn’t make you grin like an idiot, you should check you still have a heart.” We had so much fun, in fact, that we’re tempted to re-experience it all through Steam.
If you’ve not already dived into Wattam’s weird and wonderful world, you can wishlist it on the Steam store and download it December 18th.
