Brand new content has landed in WRC 9.
Anyone that’s been hitting the tracks in WRC 9 will be excited to hear that the game is getting its second free update. This official game of the FIA World Rally Championship is soon to get new stages, a Co-Driver mode, and new vehicles.
The teams at NACON and KT want to keep the game feeling fresh and new, and that’s why they’re adding a chunk of new content for players. When players update their game they can expect to find six new stages to compete for Rally Portugal, a Co-Driver mode that lets two online players race in the same car, a Pirelli Tyre Team livery, and the GR Yaris Rally Concept from Toyota GAZOO Racing.
Not sure if WRC 9 is for you? We reviewed the game back in August, giving it a fantastic 9/10. We found it to be “the best-playing WRC game to date, going toe-to-toe with the DiRT Rally series.”
It’s safe to say that this one lives up to the expectations.
For those who own the game on PS4, Xbox One and PC, the December update is available from to day. If you’ve been playing on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S, you’ll have to wait a little longer; the new content is due to drop at a later date.
In the December Update trailer, you can get a quick glimpse at some of these exciting additions in action. Check it out below.
