Wondering how to get dirty water in Phasmophobia? Here’s what you need to know.
Each game of Phasmophobia gives you a set of four goals to achieve. Some of these goals are significantly harder to achieve then others. Sometimes, one of those goals might be to get dirty water. Here are some tips to help you get ghosts to fill up sinks with dirty water in Phasmophobia.
Sometimes you don’t have to do anything to get a ghost to fill a sink with dirty water. In fact, we’ve played quite a few rounds of Phasmophobia where there’s already a filthy sink two minutes into the round. But, for those pesky aquaphobic ghosts, we’ve got a few ways you can invoke their wrath.
If you’re lucky, you’ll have a sink in the room the ghost is haunting. Simply turn on the faucet, let the sink fill up, and go on with your normal ghost-hunting activities. As you rile up the ghost, there’s a chance they’ll automatically take their frustrations out on the water, turning it brown. If not, you’ll have to make the ghost very angry.
Calling out the ghost’s name is the best way to do this. Check the whiteboard before you head into the house to find out their name and start saying it. Each type of ghost has different things that make them angry, so you’ll have to carefully choose how to anger them. The Mare, for example, is more active with the lights off, so try keeping your lights down. Other ghosts get frustrated when you throw stuff around their house. It’s easy to rile up a ghost, but putting down salt, or smudge-sticking the area, is guaranteed to scare them off.
Once you get dirty water in Phasmophobia, you really only need to take a picture of it if it’s one of the four items on your to-do list. We once took a picture of dirty water when it wasn’t on our to-do list and got snuffed out almost immediately. That ghost was clearly embarrassed it forgot to clean the sinks before having guests over.
Well, there you have it. Those are some simple steps you can take to get ghosts to fill up sinks with dirty water in Phasmophobia. We wish the best of luck and happy ghost hunting!
