Downhill bike-em-up Descenders has hit four million players and will also be receiving a major update.
Descenders has accrued over four million players, though we don’t have an official figure for how many times those players have brained themselves on a virtual tree. This downhill biking game launched into Early Access four years ago and was formally released onto PC and Xbox in 2019, before hitting the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch the year after.
The game will also be receiving a major update, dubbed the Customisation Update, giving players the ability to tweak their in-game riders to their hearts’ content. There’ll be new skin tones, new body types and more. On top of that, the update will also add three new bike parks, Jump City, Ido Bike Park, and Rose Ridge.
The update will be free to anyone who’s purchased the game, on any platform, and is the thirteenth update to the game; the content won’t be cursed, however. You can check out the trailer below to get a taste of what Descenders has to offer and get the new update when it arrives this February 25th.
