Fallout Numa Numa Vegas is What Your Monday Needs

Fallout New Vegas

We’ve been craving a Fallout New Vegas II for a long and now.. we’re still waiting. But in the meantime, we’ll settle for Mr House singing Dragostea Din Tei.

Affectionately known as the Numa Numa song, Dragostea Din Tei achieved viral notoriety when Gary Brolsma mimed the song on his webcam. It’s been covered and memed many, many times since then and the latest start to jump on the bandwagon is Fallout New Vegas’s Mr House. Sort of.

The ‘ruler’ of New Vegas, Mr House is a reclusive character who, unless you crack open his suspended animation pod, is only ever seen as an static image on a view screen. Voiced by the late René Auberjonois, House is one of the factions you can ally yourself with and is a deeply reclusive, straight-laced individual. In short, not the kind of person you’d expect to burst into song.

However, enterprising Twitter user Tommy_GolfR has recorded himself miming the Numa Numa song and then used the mobile app Avatarify to map his own movements to a static image of Mr House, resulting in a short but glorious animation that we’ve had on loop for half the day. If the prospect of it being a full five days till the weekend is getting you down, this should give your Monday a much-needed boost.
