Season 6 in Fortnite is in full swing which means brand new items for players to craft.
Among those new items is the Hunter’s Cloak. This cloak protects players from wildlife that would attack them. Wolves and Boar are scattered around the map and can do some real damage to players so this cloak is great for those that want to be cautious. But how do you make a Hunter’s Cloak in Fortnite?
Crafting the cloak is just as easy as crafting weapons – but first you need to collect the parts for it.
You can craft the Hunter’s Cloak using meat and animal bones. You can get these parts from any animals you find around the map. Animals wander so where they show up can be a bit random but we’ve seen wolves in the woods and chickens on farms for certain. There are also boars that show up near the spire and around the drive-in. Again, there’s no exact place that you’ll find animals but check in places you’d expect animals to be and you’ll likely find some.
Once you have the ingredients, open up your backpack, hover over the meat in your hot bar and go into the crafting menu. From there it will show you what you need to craft the Hunter’s Cloak.
Once you’ve crafted the cloak you’ll notice that it takes up a spot in your inventory. This is unfortunate but it’s the price you have to pay for protection against wildlife. When you put the cloak on it only lasts for a short period of time so use it wisely.
And there you have it. The Hunter’s Cloak in Fortnite is super simple to craft so if you’ve got that quest to make one, now you know how. Be sure to give the cloak a try if you’re in tight spot against some animals and need a quick getaway.
