Thanks to Evil Genius 2, Miss Moneypenny is back and she’s not a happy lady.
Okay, that’s not 100% true; actress Samantha Bond, who starred in four Pierce Brosnan Bond films, isn’t playing as Miss Moneypenny this time around. Instead of being a spy’s neglected ‘love interest’, she provides the voice for Emma, a former spymaster who’s one of the four playable masterminds in the upcoming Doctor Evil simulator.
Evil Genius 2: World Domination, which sees you attempting to conquer the world while fending off Bond-style agents, has already recruited Brian Blessed as henchman Red Ivan. Though, if we’re honest, we’d pay good money for a spin-off game where Brian Blessed conquers the world using the power of his voice alone. Shouty Genius, anyone?
Emma is more your seething villain type who, having been a former spymaster, has changed sides to murder the heck out of her former recruits.
“I taught you everything. And now I’ll teach you one final lesson – how to die,” she boasts in Emma’s trailer, which you can watch below. She’s less interested in ruling the world than she is ending it, though we’re not sure if your secret volcano lair could survive an apocalypse.
Evil Genius 2: World Domination will be invading Steam on March 30th, though we wouldn’t be surprised if a console release followed later. You can wishlist it on Steam here.
