Just Die Already

“Old People Sandbox” Just Die Already is Coming to Consoles

“Old people sandbox” Just Die Already is coming to consoles.

Old people what? In truth, the presence of old people in Just Die Already seems superficial at best. We can’t think of a single elderly relative who has the ability to roll their severed head around the lounge – in fact, it seems more like the Stubbs the Zombie sequel we never got. But, if the newly-released trailer is anything to go by, it should be stupid, stupid fun.

And now, despite set for just a PC release, Just Die Already is also arriving on the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. There are physics-based shenanigans aplenty, featuring a populace who share the same bad luck as Katamari Damacy’s hapless inhabitants. There’s no cosmic overlord with a David Bowie-style package, but there’s an awful lot of rolling around, causing chaos and just being the absolute, absolute worst.

Just Die Already also features an online co-op mode for extra mayhem, so you can share in the “accidental” mayhem. There’s no set release date as yet, though publishers Curve Digital promise an announcement soon. In the mean time, you can wishlist it on Steam.
