Brick Top, you slaaaaaaaaag! Sorry, we’re just getting in the mood for Adios by watching Snatch, Guy Ritchie’s crime caper, for the fourteenth time.
Adios, which launches this March, doesn’t take place in the heart of London. But it does put you in the shoes of a pig-farmer who, like Snatch’s Brick Top, uses pigs to dispose of inconvenient bodies. But unlike Brick Top, your protagonist is having second thoughts about getting rid of corpses and has decided to quit the racket.
Sounds like a cue for a shoot-em-up? You’d think so, and its entirely possible there’ll be some gunplay, but Adios promises to be more of a sedate experience. The first-person adventure sees you spending time with the ‘friend’ who’s been tasked with talking you out of quitting or, if that fails, putting a bullet in your head. Will spending time with them change their mind? Or yours?
“How you respond will determine the rest of your life”, boats the Steam store page, so there should be multiple endings, one of which will almost certainly involve feeding your ‘friend’ to your porkers. At the very least, Adios should stand up to repeated playthroughs and we’re definitely looking forward to seeing what speed runners make of it.
You can wishlist Adios on Steam now and pick it up on PC and Xbox this March 17th.
