EA has announced several new titles coming to EA Play in March and April.
EA Play is EA’s subscription gaming service, available for PC, Playstation and Xbox (also part of Xbox Game Pass) which gives you access to a bank of EA created or published titles. And, coming this March and April, you’ll be able to get hold of three or four new extra titles.
The games joining EA Play are:
- Madden NFL 21 (March 2nd)
- It Takes Two (March 26th)
- Star Wars Squadrons (March)
- NHL 21 (April)
If you’re a hardcore ice hockey or American football fan you know exactly what to expect from Madden NFL 21 and NHL 21. Star Wars Squadrons is our pick of the bunch, a first-person X-Wing and Tie Fighter game that we said “did great things with the Star Wars licence”. It’s amazing in VR but, even on a flat screen it’s a fantastic chance to leap into the cockpit of an X-Wing, or crush the Rebels if that’s more your thing. We’ve only seen the trailer for It Takes Two, as the game’s not out till late March but if you’re a co-op aficionado it should be fun.
So why “three or four games”? We’ve not been at the gin again, but NHL 21 isn’t available for the PC. So while the rest of these titles should be playable on Xbox, Playstation and PC, PC-based hockey fans are out of luck.
You can learn more about these and other EA Play titles at EA’s site.
