The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is coming to consoles later this year.
Repentance is the final chunk of content for the cartoony but gruesome roguelike twin-stick shooter, which is very, very, very loosely based on the Biblical story of Isaac. It’s scheduled to hit the PC on March 31st, and will include new enemies, new characters and much more. However, it’s been announced that Repentance will be coming to consoles.
The Binding of Isaac: Repentance will be arriving on the Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Nintendo Switch, both digitally and as an impressively cool physical edition. The Steam version will be downloadable content for the original game, but it’s not year clear what form the console versions will take.
Certainly, the existence of physical edition proves there will be a stand-alone edition featuring all the Repentance content. But will console players have to re-purchase the whole game again or will they be able to buy just the expansion? We should have more information closer to the game’s console release.
The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is set to hit the PS4, PS5 and Switch in the third quarter of this year.
