Assassin’s Creed is Becoming a Line of Mr Men Books

Mr Men Assassin's Creed

The Assassin’s Creed series is to become a range of Mr Men books.

Really. We swear we’re not making this up. Yes, we had to check it wasn’t April Fools all over again, but according to Ubisoft there’s really a range of Assassin’s Creed Mr Men books waiting in the wings. Yes, a gaming franchise about murdering people when they’re not looking is now a kids book series.

This could, admittedly, be some sort of publicity stunt. It wouldn’t be the first time a company’s pulled something like this. It’s possible that the books do exist but, like Game’s Christmas Tinner, they’ll only end up in the hands of a few select ‘influencers’. Yes, there’s already a range of Doctor Who Mr Men books but Assassin’s Creed.. really?

That said, we would like a Assassin’s Creed Unity Mr Men book, where you open it up and discover the characters faces are all over the place, that Mr Greedy’s screaming and screaming because he’s on page 4 and his eyeballs are on page 12.

Designed by Adam Hargreaves, son of Mr Men author Roger Hargreaves, there will be a total of five books in the series, covering different Assassin’s Creed characters. There’s no release date as yet but we’ll be keeping our eyes to see if these are actually real.

Weekend Editor // Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
