Cyberpunk 2077 has received a new patch, dubbed Hotfix 1.22
Creators CD Projekt Red have rolled the patch out for all versions of Cyberpunk 2077; Stadia, PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. You can find a full list of the fixes here but the majority of the issues addressed relate to quests not working; for example, it fixes an issue in the quest “Epistrophy” where the player could get trapped in a garage.
We weren’t expecting a major patch, it’s unclear whether there’ll be a 1.3 patch but patches 1.1 and 1.2 were on CD Projekt Red’s road map, and both fixed a wealth of issues. The game wasn’t a trainwreck when we dived into it, but plenty of people have encountered issues, particularly on Xbox One and Playstation 4.
Speaking of which, Hotfix 1.22 does contain some small performance tweaks for consoles. Though whether that’ll be enough to get the game back on the Playstation store is questionable; the digital version of Cyberpunk 2077 has been removed for over four months now.
Cyberpunk 2077 should be receiving Xbox Series S/X and Playstation 5 graphical upgrades later this year, which will hopefully bring it into line with the PC incarnation of the game. For now, this at least shows CD Projekt Red are still working on it.
