When you’re fighting against certain tribes in Biomutant, you’ll have to face off against their defences. Some of those include ‘Boomhuts’. But how do you defeat them?
Early on in Biomutant, you’ll be tasked with choosing a tribe to side with. No matter who you side with, there’ll be rival tribes you need to fight – or otherwise convince to join your cause. But in doing so, you’ll need to make your way to their strongholds, and pass through their defences. Along with fighting their armies, you’ll have to get past some of their defences. One such defence is a ‘Boomhut’. Essentially, it’s a hatch in the wall that launches bombs at you.
You’ll need to destroy the Boomhuts before you can continue making your way through Biomutant. But how do you destroy them? It’s rather simple: you need to fire their bombs back at them.
In order to do that, stand in front of the Boomhut and wait for a bomb to launch. After a couple of seconds, you’ll see a prompt appear – square on PlayStation, X on Xbox. Pressing that prompt at just the right time will send the bomb flying back at the Boomhut, blowing it up.
You get unlimited tries (as long as you don’t take too much damage from the incoming blasts, that is) so if you miss the first one, don’t worry. Timing is key – you only get a very small window to fire the bomb back.
