Rocket League Patch Notes V1.96 and NASCAR Fan Pack Incoming

Rocket League Nascar

Psyonix has just put out a new update for Rocket League. Patch V1.96 prepares the game for the upcoming NASCAR fan pack.

As published on the official Rocket League website, the main purpose of patch V1.96 is to ensure the game is ready for the new content pack, landing tomorrow. It also addresses a number of other issues, though, which we have outlined below:

  • Salty Shores (Night) has been added into rotation of all playlists
  • Reduced the frequency of Wasteland and Farmstead in the rotation
  • Neon Fields and Forbidden Temple (Day) have been removed from rotation temporarily
  • The Trade-In page has been updated to make it clearer what can and cannot be traded
  • Fixed a bug that caused players to join the wrong private match
  • Rectified “add players” pop-up that was erroneously appearing
  • Fixed appearance of Anispray Rocket Boost
  • Fixed erroneous scaling of Friends List

The NASCAR 2021 Fan Pack is the main reason behind the latest update, however. It arrives into the game on 6th May, allowing players to access a bunch of NASCAR themed content.

Here’s what the Fan Pack includes:

  • Ford Mustang and four decals (Roush Fenway Racing #6, Stewart-Haas Racing #10 and Team Penske #22)
  • Chevrolet Camaro and four decals (Chip Ganassi Racing #1, Richard Childress Racing #3, Hendrick Motorsports #9 and Richard Petty Motorsports #43)
  • Toyota Camry and two decals (Joe Gibbs Racing #18 and 23XI Racing #23)
  • A NASCAR x RL decal for each car
  • Goodyear Racing Wheels

Watch the trailer for the incoming NASCAR 2021 Fan Pack below. It’ll be available to purchase from Rocket League‘s Item Shope tomorrow, 6th May and will be priced at 2,000 in-game credits
