Watch the Trailer for Arcane, a Netflix Animation From League of Legends Creators

Arcane League of LEgends

Announced back in 2019 during League of Legends’ 10th anniversary celebrations, Arcane is an animated series set in the game’s universe.

And while further announcements about Arcane have been rather quiet following a delay announcement last year, we finally have something to go on. Not much, mind. But Netflix has just released a short teaser trailer and a long-awaited release window: autumn 2021.

If you’re a League of Legends fan and dig the game’s lore, then this series is likely going to be one to watch. It’s set in the past and will focus around several characters from Piltover and Zaun. We don’t have much else to go on, and the new teaser doesn’t reveal anything new. But we imagine we’ll get more details in the coming months.

Don’t expect a light-hearted animation – this isn’t one for kids. It’s aimed at a 14+ audience (we imagine it’ll have a 15 certificate in the UK) since it deals with some “adult subject matter”.

You can watch the new trailer below. Arcane is releasing on Netflix this autumn.

If she's not gaming, she'll be building Lego, reading a thriller, watching something spooky or... asleep. She does love to sleep.
