From Arkane Studios, the team behind Prey, comes Redfall, an action-packed shooter that pits you against deadly vampires.
The story trailer doesn’t reveal any gameplay, but it doesn’t need to in order to pique our interest. Colourful characters, a weird robot, vampires, and balls-to-the-wall action mean this game is firmly on our radar.
It’s an immerse shooter that you can play by yourself or team up with friends. And, unsurprisingly, it’s an Xbox exclusive (though will also be coming to PC, undoubtedly).
There’s certainly a comedic tone to this, as a group of friends face off against a cult of vampires, simply intent on capturing what’s going on. It soon turns to a battle though, and combat looks intense; it’s a mixture of gunplay, supernatural abilities and a range of other larger-than-life weapons. If you’re teaming up against vampires, you need to be ready.
We’re excited to find out more about Redfall, as it certainly looks to be different. It’s set to release exclusively on Xbox and PC in summer 2022.
