Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the most visually impressive PS5 game yet. And even better, it’s hugely entertaining to play, too.
Finding Ratchet & Clank thrown into an alternate dimension, Rift Apart introduces a new Lombax into the mix; the feisty Rivet. And so you might be wondering if the game has any co-op or multiplayer features.
The answer if no, unfortunately. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has no co-op or multiplayer features whatsoever. It’s strictly a single-player experience, though one that’s varied, accessible to all ages and skills levels, and a hell of a lot of fun to play. It’s not the longest game in the world, but thanks to an unlockable challenge mode chances are you might want to play through it at least a couple of times.
The bad news is that developer Insomniac Games has no plans to add multiplayer either. It was built from the ground up for PS5 as a single-player experience, and that’s how it’s likely to stay.
