Games to Watch Out For This June

Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart

It’s June! That means we’re almost half way through the year. It also means you’re going to have a lot of new games to play.

We don’t know why publishers do it. It’s June, it’s E3 month – the month where we’re bombarded with new announcements – and yet there are still more new games coming out than we can shake a stick at. Overload, much?

Still, we aren’t going to complain about plenty of great games to play. If we have time to play them all, that is. We’ve picked out some of the games we’re most looking forward to below, but rest assured this isn’t an exhaustive list.

Necromunda: Hired Gun

Necromunda: Hired Gun

  • Release date: 1st June
  • Formats: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC

Out today, right now, this moment, is Necromunda: Hired Gun. It’s a fast-paced and frenetic action shooter that looks like a ridiculous amount of fun. Especially if you’re a fan of over-the-top videogame violence. We know we are. Look out for our review of this soon.

Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown

  • Release date: 1st June
  • Format: PS4

Another game out today is Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown. It’s a remaster of the classic fighting game, complete with enhanced visuals and a new focus on online competition. Needless to say, if you’re a fighting game fan, this is one worth checking out. Better yet, if you’re a PS Plus or PS Now subscriber, you can play it at no extra cost.
