How to Save Your Game in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart 4

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is by far the best Ratchet & Clank game yet. And being exclusive to the PS5, it looks absolutely stunning.

From the moment you boot Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart up, you feel like you’re at the centre of a an animated movie created by the likes of Pixar. But no, it’s just Insomniac Games flexing its muscles. Being a fairly lengthy adventure, however, chances are you aren’t going to complete it in one sitting. And when the time comes, you might find yourself wondering how to save your game progress.

The truth is, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart doesn’t allow you to save your progress manually. Instead, you have to rely on the game’s autosave system. Thankfully it’s fairly robust, saving your progress regularly and seemingly without any issues. Simply look for the saving icon appearing in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

The game typically autosaves when you enter a new area, travel to a different planet, or pay a visit to Mrs. Zurkon. In any case, no matter when you close the game, even in the worst case scenario you’re only going to lose a few minutes of progress at most.

It’s also worth mentioning that numerous save slots are available, so if multiple members of your household are wanting to play using the same profile, they can do so without affecting another player’s progress. Handy, huh?
