Wondering how to save your game in The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom? Here’s everything you need to know.
In The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom, a game based on the Netflix series, you take on the role of a group of four kids, living in the apocalyptic town of Wakefield. The apocalypse isn’t ideal, of course, but the kids make the most of it – until a bigger threat shows up. Needing to find all four pieces of the Staff of Doom in order to save the world, they set off on a grand adventure that seems them facing all kinds of monsters and demons.
An important journey like that requires your progress to be kept safe, right? So it’s important that you regularly save your game while playing The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom. However, there’s just one catch: there’s no way to manually save your game.
That’s right; The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom relies entirely on autosaves. That comes with both good and bad points. It means you don’t have to worry about regularly saving, but you need to be careful when you switch off your game. While we’ve found the save system to be problem-free, we’d recommend making sure you’ve finished your current mission before exiting the game, otherwise you might lose a bit of progress.
We also made a habit of fast travelling back to the treehouse (hold ‘down’ on the d-pad) before quitting, just to make doubly sure.
