Remember Starfield? That game from Bethesda that everyone’s been going crazy about, but we’ve heard very little about?
We’ve finally got something. A story trailer and a release date: Starfield is set to release on 11 November 2022. It’s still a way off, then, but it’s something to go on.
The trailer doesn’t give much away, and we don’t get to see any gameplay. It’s a beautiful-looking trailer though. It shows a team member of Constellation, on their journey following “humanity’s final journey”. We don’t know much, but we’re instantly intrguied.
We see a space craft take off from a dry, unknown planet, before the numbers “11-11-22” pop up. We think it’s safe to assume that’s the release date. Whether Starfield will be ready by then remains to be seen – it’s rare a game doesn’t get delayed these days, but it’s nice to know that the end is sort-of in sight.
It’s going to be an Xbox Series X/S exclusive, so if you have an Xbox One, sorry, Starfield isn’t going to be for you. It’ll also be available on PC, but not PlayStation. Not at all surprising considering Microsoft paid a lot of money to own Bethesda.
Give the trailer a watch below.
