If you’re still loyally tending to your islanders on a regular basis in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, we’ve got some good news for you. New content is coming to the game later this week.
According to a tweet published by Nintendo of America’s official account earlier today, a free update is coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons on 29th July. That’s this Thursday, just two days away. However, the details of what this update entails are rather scarce.
“A free update for #AnimalCrossing: New Horizons arrives on July 29. Please ensure you have updated to the latest version to enjoy the upcoming weekly Fireworks shows and new seasonal items,” the tweet reads.
Nintendo then follows up with news that more free content for the game is currently in development for later this year. Again, exactly what that content is remains to be seen. But any new content is a good thing, right?
We do know that this Thursday’s update will add fireworks to the game – seemingly on a weekly basis. You can see ’em on show in the image atop this post. Pretty! What exactly the “new seasonal items” entail, however, remain to be seen. Summer items? Stuff ready for autumn? We’ll just have to wait and see.
