There’s a new offer available for PS5 owners: claim six free months of Apple TV+.
Apple TV+ is Apple’s answer to subscription TV. With a monthly payment of £4.99, you can access a range of television series, documentaries and movies made especially for Apple. The catalogue is nowhere near as vast as Netflix, but there’s some good stuff on here, including M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant, Greyhound starring Tom Hanks, and Charley Boorman and Ewan McGregor’s documentary continuation, Long Way Up.
By logging into your PS5 and downloading the Apple TV+ app, those and more can be yours for free, for six months. All you need to do is:
- Go to the ‘media’ tab, and download Apple TV.
- Sign in to Apple TV with your Apple ID or create an account if you don’t have one.
Even if you are a current subscriber to Apple TV+, you can still claim the six free months. The only exception is if you’re subscribing as part of a bundle, like Apple One. In those cases, you won’t be able to redeem the offer on PS5.
There’s one small catch, of course: once your six-month period is up, you’ll start being charged at the standard rage of £4.99. But if you’re not interested in continuing using Apple TV+ once your free six months are up, just make sure to cancel your subscription before that time.
