The patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone season five are here, following the game’s update yesterday.
Season five of Call of Duty: Warzone has kicked off, and like any new season in a game, it means a lot of changes are afoot. Today, Raven Software has published the full patch notes for Warzone, highlighting everything that’s changed in the game.
A key change includes the addition of Season Five Battle Pass. Available across Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War and Warzone, it adds 100 new tiers for players to work through, with a number of new rewards across all tiers. They include new weapons, new blueprints, operators, operator skins and more.
There are new points of interests added to Verdansk. You’ll now find Mobile Broadcast Stations, offering rewards for players who dare check them out. There’s also mention of a very interesting REDACTED location waiting for players to discover.
There’s also a new Gulag: Rush, which is based on the speedball area of a classic Black Ops II map. Players will also find red doors dotted around Verdansk which, when they go through them, they’ll find themselves in an unexpected location.
For console players, high-resolution textures are now delivered via On-Demand Texture Streaming. It’s an option that can be enabled via the game’s menu.
Of course, like with any patch, Call of Duty: Warzone season five update addresses a variety of bug fixes, too. Collission issues, visual glitches, problems with weapons and more have all been addressed.
