Missed Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase? Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered.
Aired at 5pm BST today, the Indie World Showcase hosted by Nintendo gave us a glimpse of upcoming indie games, and new titles making their way to Nintendo Switch. The steam was approximately 20 minutes long, and packed full with new trailers.
You can watch the full Showcase below, but we’ve also rounded up all of the titles shown off, along with their release windows.
- Bomb Rush Cyberpunk – coming to Switch in 2022 as a timed console exclusive (meaning it’ll come to other formats sometime later).

- Loop Hero – coming to Switch “this holiday”, so likely November/December. It’s already available on PC. You can read our review by clicking here.
- FAR: Changing Tides – coming to Switch early 2022, alongside all other formats. You can read more about the game here.
- Necrobarista: Final Pour – an expanded director’s cut of the original game – and it’s available on Switch from today (as a timed console exclusive). Here’s our review of the base game.

- Boyfriend Dungeon – also available today on Switch, PC and Xbox.
- Axiom Verge 2 – surprise! Also available today on Switch, PS4 and PC.
- Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon – coming to Switch this “holiday”.
- Islanders: Console Edition – available on Switch right now. It will be coming to other consoles later.
- Metal Slug Tactics – coming to Switch in 2022.
- Tetris Effect: Connected – coming to Switch on 8th October.
