Rejoice, Alien fans, as Aliens: Fireteam Elite is here, and it’s one of the better games based on the iconic film franchise.
If you’re thinking of picking up Aliens: Fireteam Elite, you might be wondering how long it takes to beat it. It’s an awkward question, what with the game being a multiplayer-focused third-person shooter, but we can hopefully give you an idea.
If you consider beating Aliens: Fireteam Elite as just simply making your way through its four campaigns, it’s likely to offer about six hours of alien-blasting fun. Each campaign is split into three missions, you see, and each is likely to take about 30 minutes to beat on your first playthrough if playing on standard difficulty. Though that’s providing you don’t run into any issues. If your whole team dies, then you’ll have to restart your current mission back at the beginning.
Once you’ve beat all four campaigns, a new Horde mode is unlocked providing more opportunities to shoot xenomorphs, while challenge cards and unlockable perks and modifiers for each of the game’s character classes may tempt you to replay campaign missions, perhaps on a higher difficulty. Needless to say, many players will get a lot more than six hours of fun out of Fireteam Elite.
And of course, there are those that would consider beating Aliens: Fireteam Elite as getting all of its achievements or Trophies. They’ve got their work cut out for them, as they’ll have to complete all campaigns on the ultra-punishing Extreme difficulty and more. We have only one thing to say to those players, which is good luck. We wouldn’t be surprised if it takes those 50 hours or so to beat it.
