If you’re an Alien fan, or simply love co-op based shooters, you might be thinking of picking up Aliens: Fireteam Elite. We’d recommend it, too, as it’s pretty good.
Before you part with your cash, though, you might have questions, such as how many missions does Aliens: Fireteam Elite have? Thankfully that’s something we can help you with.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite has 12 missions overall, split evenly into four campaigns. That means there are three missions per campaign, each taking place in a unique, though rather linear, environment. It’s not a mission per se, but there’s also a Horde mode that currently just has a single map.
With each missions taking around 20-30 minutes to beat on average, it probably gives the impression that there isn’t much to Aliens: Fireteam Elite. In truth though, you will be playing each mission multiple times. There are challenge cards, for example, that change their dynamic somewhat, while playing on different difficulties also might affect how you approach them. You’ll also want to replay missions to develop your character and hopefully find bonus caches full of goodies.
With developer Cold Iron Studios also promising free content updates in the future, there’s always the chance that more missions could be added, too. So, at launch, Fireteam Elite features 12 missions. But who knows if more will be added over time. We should at least get some more horde maps.
