As you make your way through No More Heroes 3, you’ll need to traverse an open world in order to find and complete a number of activities and battles.
It isn’t the biggest open world ever presented in a videogame, but the fact that it’s quite ugly and largely devoid of life means that you probably won’t want to spend more time in it than you have to. And for that reason, you’ll probably be happy to hear that No More Heroes 3 has a fast travel system.
To fast travel in No More Heroes 3, first access the map by pressing the + button on your controller, then pressing R to cycle to it. When you’re on the map, you can then press the Y button to open up the fast travel menu.
There’s a caveat to No More Heroes 3‘s fast travel system, however; you can only travel between the areas you’ve unlocked, not to places within them. So, you can quickly move from Santa Destroy to the ruined area called Call of Battle, for example, but you can’t warp directly to an activity or mission within them.
To quickly get about when you’re in the open world, you can at least make use of your bike. And if you lose it, remember you can press the X button to summon it to your side.
