When it comes to over-the-top, balls-to-the-wall first person shooters, there’s nothing quite like the Borderlands series. And the latest addition to the franchise, Borderlands 3, might just be the biggest, ballsiest of them all. Rather than confining you to Pandora, you have a whole galaxy of planets to explore. Each of them is filled with bizarre enemies for you to fill with bullets, ridiculous storylines, and larger-than-life characters that you’ll either love or hate.
Borderlands 3 is fun on your own, but bring a friend on board and it gets a whole lot better. The entire campaign can be played in online co-op, with you and a friend making your way through missions and taking down bosses together, and just about everything in between. There’s absolutely hours of gameplay here, making it one of the best online co-op games on PS4.
