Out now, Life is Strange: True Colors is the latest game in the Life is Strange series. But while others have been episodic, this has released as one complete game. So: how long will it take to beat?
While we’ve had to wait weeks, sometimes even months, between episodes of previous Life is Strange games, Life is Strange: True Colors is different. It’s still split neatly into five episodes, but you can play them all immediately. And trust us, once you’ve started, it’s hard to put down. And so, you’re probably wondering how long it takes to complete Life is Strange: True Colors.
Exactly how long you spend with the game depends on how much you want to explore the nooks and crannies of the town. If you simply want to focus on the main storyline, you’ll likely complete True Colors in around 10 hours. As such, each episode is around two hours long, give or take.
But if you want to get the most out of the game – and we recommend that you do – you can easily spend another four or five hours on top of that. In Life is Strange: True Colors’ town of Haven Springs, there are NPCs to talk to, side quests to complete, and lots of secrets to uncover. Taking time to complete extra missions and find hidden secrets adds a lot of depth to the story and your experience.
However you decide to play the game, though, it’s 10 or 15 hours well spent. We loved every minute with it, and hopefully you will too.
