Playing through Life is Strange: True Colors and wondering how to save your game? Here’s what you need to know.
It’s important you don’t lose any progress while playing Life is Strange: True Colors. After all, the decisions that you make will shape the outcome of the game, so every moment counts. So: how do you save your game? The short answer is… you can’t. But don’t worry.
Life is Strange: True Colors has a robust autosave system. It never failed us, and it would always load the game in the last building we entered. It does mean there’s no manual option to save whatsoever, which is a little frustration. But as long as you maintain good habits before turning off the game it shouldn’t be a problem.
Make sure you’ve finished any cutscenes you’re currently in before quitting the game, and don’t quit part-way through a conversation; it’s likely you’ll have to sit through the cutscene or conversation again in that case. We always either entered a building or just left a building before quitting the game. It would then load us back in in the exact spot we left it in.
Sure, a manual save option would be nice in Life is Strange: True Colors, but the autosave seems reliable enough that you shouldn’t have to worry about losing progress. Simply sit back and enjoy your time with the game.
