Riders Republic is arriving later this month but if the PC is your gaming platform of choice you can preview it tomorrow.
This extreme sports sim does sport a limited single-player mode but it’s geared towards showing off your skills to and against a range of online opponents. Ubisoft have dubbed it a “massively multiplayer sports game”, and have already revealed their roadmap for the future of the game.
We got our hands on it and came away rather impressed and now, provided you own a reasonably powered PC (check out the minimum specs here), you’ll be able to dive into it tomorrow. The Riders Republic “PC Play Day” will give you access to the five career modes as well as several multiplayer modes – Mass Race, Versus Mode, Tricks Battle and Free for All.
In essence you’ll get to sample the game’s launch-day incarnation and any progress you make will carry over if you choose to buy the full PC version. Riders Republic will feature cross-play, though Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed that progress can transferred between platforms.
So how do you get in on this PC Play Day? Aside from having a suitable PC you’ll need to register with and download Ubisoft Connect, Ubisoft’s Steam-style DRM app You’ll also have to download the game within the app but you can pre-load that right now so you’re not wasting any time.
The PC Play Day runs from 8AM BST October 12th to 8AM BST October 13th. Riders Republic releases this 28th October, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Google Stadia.
