Halloween is Coming to Lonely Mountains: Downhill in Season 9

Lonely Mountains: Downhill Halloween

Like your mountain biking to be spooky? Time to play Lonely Mountains: Downhill, then.

For the uninitiated, Lonely Mountains: Downhill is an ultra-stylish game about biking down treacherous terrain. It’s a fairly laid-back, zen game – although finding the best route to cycle down can be tricky. We’ve had a lot of fun with it in the past, and with the game’s latest free update, things are about to get spooky.

Daily Rides Season 9 is now available across all formats. Subtitled ‘Trick or Trails’, it’s completely Halloween-themed, adding in new outfits, horror-themed accessories and some seasonal paint jobs. Best of all, it’s completely free. Here’s everything you can expect:

  • Halloween King, Rag Doll, Mad Scientist and Politician outfits
  • Happy Pumpkin, Evil Pumpkin and Pinky Brain helmets
  • Shadow and Fog paint jobs

Each season of Daily Rides brings a new leaderboard competition to Lonely Mountains: Downhill. A season last eight weeks, and in that time a new trial will be selected every day, allowing players to complete against each other for a place on the leaderboards. And thanks to Trick or Trails, you can engage in those challenges while wearing a pumpkin on your head. Honestly, we’re here for it.

Lonely Mountains: Downhill is available on PS4, Xbox One (and PS5/Xbox Series X via backwards compatibility), Switch and PC. It’s also available to play as part of Xbox Game Pass. The free update is available across all platforms right now.
