Moonglow Bay’s Latest Trailer Shows the Blocky Fish-Em-Up in Action

Moonglow Bay

Just a few weeks away from release, Moonglow Bay has a new gameplay trailer.

We’ve had our eye on this fishing-based life sim for a while now, particularly since we learned it was coming to Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release. It casts you as a newcomer to Moonglow Bay who, acting on your partner’s last wish, starts a fishing business to help revitalise the town.

The trailer is pretty much what we were expecting, a slightly longer look at your blocky boat and also some banter with the townspeople whose chunky eyes are, if we’re honest, a tiny bit off-putting. There’s no sign of any monsters but given that Moonglow Bay has the odd sinister legend or two, you can count on bumping into some beasties.

You can check out the trailer below, or get your hands on Moonglow Bay when it hits Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam on Oct 26th, hitting the Epic Games Store on November 11th. “Hang on a minute”, you might be thinking.. “Wasn’t this coming out Oct 7th?” Yes, it was, but it was subject to a short delay – hopefully it’ll have been worth waiting for.

Weekend Editor // Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
