At the start of Forza Horizon 5 you’ll be forced to create a character. But what if you want to change how they look further down the line?
While some players won’t really care what their characters look like in Forza Horizon 5, others will. Besides, you might as well make use of those costumes, clothing items and emotes that you keep winning, hadn’t you?
To customise your character in Forza Horizon 5, you first need to go to a festival site or house that you own. You can do that quickly from the pause menu if you like. Once you’re back at a festival site or house, press the right shoulder button to go to the My Festival tab.
On the My festival tab, you should see a Customise Character option – select it. A menu should then appear that lets you customise your character. Many tabs of customisations are available allowing you to totally change your character model, as well as their clothes, hair, prosthetics, and more.
Your options start off fairly limited, but you’ll unlock lots of customisation items as you play the game. Various clothing items and emotes are rewarded for completing Accolades, for example, and many can be gained by Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins. Some customisation items can even be purchased with credits from within the character customisation menu.
So, if you take pride in how your character looks, check the customisation menu often to see what’s available. You can change how you look as often as you’d like, after all.
