With a map that’s bigger than ever before, while it’s fun driving around in Forza Horizon 5, sometimes you might want to make use of fast travel.
Like in other Forza Horizon games before it, fast travel is unlocked from the outset in Forza Horizon 5. Or at least a limited version of it. Simply open up the map, and you’ll find that if you highlight a festival site or a house that you own, there’s a prompt at the bottom of the screen allowing you to fast travel to it. It will cost you though, so you might not want to fast travel willy-nilly.
If you’d like to be able to fast travel to any road on the Forza Horizon 5 map, you need to unlock the privilege first. That involves buying a house located on the western side of the map called Buenas Vistas. If it’s not available to buy yet, simply play more of the game until it is. Once available, you’ll find that it costs 2,000,000. So, it’s not cheap, but being able to go to any road instantly is a godsend.
To make fast travel cheaper, and eventually free, smash the fast travel boards spread across the game’s map. There are 50 of them overall, and each one you smash reduces the costs of fast travel a little. Once you’ve smashed all 50, it’s free, allowing you to quickly go wherever you want at no cost. If you’re struggling to find all of the boards, consider buying the treasure map DLC. It’s cheap, and comes in very handy.
