SEGA Has Teamed up With Steve Aoki for a Sonic the Hedgehog Virtual Concert Event

Love Sonic the Hedgehog? Know who Steve Aoki is? If the answer is yes to both of those questions, then you’ll be happy to hear that a Sonic the Hedgehog x Steve Aoki virtual concert event will be taking place on 30th November.

As part of the continued celebrations surrounding the 30th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog, SEGA has teamed up with Steve Aoki to host the virtual concert event which is set in a digitally created Sonic Universe.

In case you have no idea who Steve Aoki is, he’s a world-class EDM artist, DJ, and producer, who’s collaborated with artists such as Blink-182, Linkin Park, Backstreet Boys, and even BTS. Also, he must really be a Sonic the Hedgehog fan, because the event takes place on his birthday.


Those who tune into the virtual concert event will be able to immerse themselves in environments such as the Green Hill Zone and the Chemical Plant, while listening to their favourite Sonic the Hedgehog tracks done EDM style. Some original music by Stave Aoki will also be played during the 60 minute set.
