Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is Getting Two Collectors Editions

Knights of the Old Republic Limited Run

Do you like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic? Do you like having less money than you used to? Then Limited Run has you covered.

Limited Run has just unveiled their Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic collectors editions, for PC and Switch. We’d love to tell you that they’re the kind of cheap, shoddy tat that makes Fallout 76’s infamous bags look like quality merchandise. Why? Because then we wouldn’t have to worry about emptying our wallets.

Unfortunately for us, and anyone with a positive bank balance, they look pretty damn good. Yes, they’re only as “limited” as Limited Run chooses to make them but that hasn’t stopped us eying them. There are in fact, two editions available for both Switch and PC, the Premium Edition and the Master’s Edition.

The Premium Edition, which will cost $89.99, contains the following eye-pleasing merchandise:

  • Physical copy of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for Switch/PC
  • Premium Foil Stamped Hard Cover Box
  • Character Concept Art Cards
  • Reversible 18″ x 24″ Poster
  • Light Side/ Dark Side Commemorative Coins
  • Certificate of Authenticity
  • Ebon Hawk Metal Pin
  • Fully Functioning Security Spike USB Drive

The Master’s Edition, which is more expensive at $174.99 and features:

  • Physical copy of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Master Edition for Switch/PC
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic SteelBook
  • Throwback Case designed to store your game
  • Reversible 18″ x 24″ Poster
  • Character Concept Art Cards
  • Concept Art Lithographs
  • Ebon Hawk Metal Pin
  • Light Side/Dark Side Commemorative Coin
  • Certificate of Authenticity
  • Premium Hard Cover Strategy Guide
  • Darth Revan Miniature Hilt Replicas
  • Vibroblade Letter Opener
  • Replica Pazaak Set

The “Replica Pazaak Set” is what really has us paying attention. Sure, the USB drive is cool but this a physical representation of the in-game card game. Yes, we were supposed to be saving the universe but the last time we played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic we spent way too much time trying to crush other Pazaak players. We can’t guess how many hours we’re going to spend replaying Pazaak when the remake comes around.

Both editions will be available for purchase from November 19th, with a window of a few weeks or until they’re all sold out. You can read the full announcement and, this Friday, purchase them from Limited Run’s site here.
