Vaas Montenegro is back! And by that we mean he’s dead as a doornail but Far Cry 6 is still putting you in his tourist-slaughtering shoes.
Far Cry 6’s first major DLC, Vaas: Insanity promises to be a blend of storytelling and rogue lite style action. It’ll feature glimpses of the Far Cry 3 villain’s psyche, not that we ever needed to know his motivation for kidnapping tourists but if you got a kick out of his over-the-top turn in that game it should be a blast.
The DLC will start you off with a pistol and, from what we’ve heard so far, takes place partly within the villain’s head. Michael Mando, who played Vaas in Far Cry 3, is also coming back. Even better, it’s arriving next week. Hurrah!
Except, that is, it’s already been released, albeit briefly. The DLC dropped on Google Stadia and someone was quick off the mark enough to get some footage before it was pulled. If you really want to spoil things for yourself, you can check out over an hour of Vaas: Insanity footage here.
And if you don’t? Far Cry 6 – Vaas: Insanity arrives this November 16th on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, Amazon Luna and Stadia, available to Season Pass holders.
