As you spend time with Forza Horizon 5 you’ll undoubtedly hear some Barn Find rumours.
Marking a location on the map where there’s a Barn Find to be discovered, Barn Find rumours are a good source of free cars in Forza Horizon 5. It can be tricky to find them at times though, unless you have the Treasure Map DLC which shows their exact location on the map.
Locating a Barn Find once you’ve heard a rumour is just one of the steps required to add a new car to your garage, however. Once you’ve located a barn find, you then need to wait for it to be restored, and then finally collect it. Though you can pay to have the restoration process completed instantly if you wish.
To collect a Barn Find in Forza Horizon 5, first you need to go to either a festival site or a house that you own. You can do that quickly via the menu if you wish. Once at a festival site or house, navigate to the Garage tab using the left and right shoulder buttons, then select the Barn Finds option. On the next screen, all of the Barn Finds available in the game will be displayed. Navigate to the one that you’ve found and want to collect, then select it.
If you’ve had a notification that a Barn Find is available to collect, you’ll be able to add it to your garage for free. If you haven’t, a pop up will appear letting you know how much it will cost to speed up the restoration process. It’s up to you if you want to pay or wait for it to be done for free. Waiting is generally the best option though. It doesn’t normally take long, after all.
