Here’s the Full Games Line-up Coming to the Amiga A500 Mini

Amiga A500 Mini

Are you a fan of 80s home computing? You might be keen to keep your eye on the A500 Mini, launching next year.

The Amiga 500, or A500, first released in 1987. It enjoyed several years being a very popular fixture in many tech-savvy homes. Although its processing power allowed for the computer to have multiple uses, for many of us it was simply a gaming machine. Taking floppy disks, we have fond memories of inserting the 11 discs of Monkey Island, playing Wizkid, The New Zealand Story and hundreds more.

And with the release of the A500 Mini, coming to stores in March, those of us with fond memories of the console can relive them. This is a miniature replica of the home computer, much like the Commodore 64 Mini, coming complete with a built-in games library. The console will ship with a mouse and a gamepad, replicated on the A500’s original peripherals.

The 25 games included with the Amiga A500 Mini are as follows:

  • Alien Breed 3D
  • Alien Breed: Special Edition 92
  • Another World
  • Arcade Pool
  • ATR: All Terrain Racing
  • Battle Chess
  • Cadaver
  • California Games
  • Dragon’s Breath
  • F-16 Combat Pilot
  • Kick Off 2
  • Paradroid 90
  • Pinball Dreams
  • Project-X: Special Edition 93
  • Qwak
  • Simon the Sorcerer
  • Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe
  • Stunt Car Racer
  • Super Cars II
  • The Chaos Engine
  • The Lost Patrol
  • The Sentinel
  • Titus the Fox
  • Worms: The Director’s Cut
  • Zool: Ninja Of The ”Nth” Dimension

The console will also include the ability to add your own games to the device via a USB flash drive.

She'll give just about anything a go, but she's got a particular soft spot for indie adventures. If she's not gaming, she'll be building Lego, reading a thriller, watching something spooky or... asleep. She does love to sleep.
