With a new, more open-world format, the Halo Infinite campaign is undoubtedly the biggest in the series yet. But just how long does it take to beat it?
That’s the question that many players finally delving into Halo Infinite might ponder. After all, open world games are generally quite long, while Halo campaigns historically have been rather on the short side. The truth is, whether you run through the Halo Infinite campaign as fast as you can or not, it still takes a bit longer than usual.
While Halo Infinite does have open-world elements, they’re pretty superfluous to the whole experience. So, you can still just make your way through one mission after another if you wish. Do that, and chances are you’ll beat the campaign in around 8-12 hours depending on the difficulty you’ve selected.
Those that want to see and do everything Halo Infinite has to offer, however, will probably spend 20 hours or more with the game. Out in the open world there are lots of Forward Operation Bases to capture, as well as other enemy strongholds. There are also high value targets to track down and defeat, and a whole host of collectibles to find.
So, simply make your way through Halo Infinite‘s main missions in its campaign and you’ll be done in about 10 hours. But if you engage fully with its open world, it might take you 20 hours or more.
