As you make your way through Halo Infinite, you’re going to want to make use of grenades.
There are four types of grenades available in Halo Infinite, each one useful in particular circumstances. You can carry two of each of them at any one time during the game’s campaign, but you might be wondering how you change between them while playing.
To change your currently equipped grenade while playing Halo Infinite, simply press left on the d-pad to bring up the grenade selector. You then need to quickly press another direction on the d-pad to change your grenade type. Press left again for Frag, up for Plasma, right for Dynamo, or down for Spike.
Press the left shoulder button to throw your currently equipped grenade, though maybe consider your target to make sure you’re using the best one. Spike grenades, for example, stick on walls, making them useful for setting traps, while Dynamo grenades disperse electric current, shocking those nearby while sapping their health. Plasma and Frag grenades, on the other hand, do a great deal of damage if used on the correct enemies.
Make effective use of your grenades, and you’ll find combat much easier in Halo Infinite on the whole. They’re not in short supply, either. Search the environment and you’ll find that there are plenty to pick up in most areas.
