Horizon Forbidden West is arguably the best-looking game on PS5 right now, and so you’ll be thankful that it has a brilliant photo mode. It’s just a shame that it isn’t the easiest to access. Unlike lots of games that let you just press a button to access photo mode, you’ll have to pause the game and then select it from the menu that appears.
Once you’re in photo mode in Horizon Forbidden West, however, there are lots of wonderful settings to tinker with. As long as you weren’t in a story scene when you paused the game you’ll find that you have decent control of the camera, and can change things like Aloy’s facial expression, the position of the sun, and a whole lot more. Play around and you can get some really special shots. Thanks to the game’s phenomenal textures, everything still looks crisp and detailed when you zoom in close, too.
If you’re after PS5 games with the best photo modes, consider this a must-have.
