Next Week, Far Cry 6’s Pagan: Control DLC Brings Back Another Big Bad

Far Cry 6 Pagan Control

Pagan Min is back, courtesy of Far Cry 6’s Pagan: Control downloadable content, arriving next week.

Unlike Vaas Montenegro, Far Cry 3’s primary antagonist and star of the previous Vaas: Insanity DLC, Pagan Min initially appears to be a level-headed, calculating individual. That said, Far Cry 4’s antagonist can be a nasty, murderous swine when he sees the need so stepping into his shoes should certainly be interesting.

Like Insanity, Control will delve into Pagan Min’s psyche, letting him “face off against familiar faces as he struggles to break free from his cycle of guilt and regrets”. If you’ve played Far Cry 4 to its conclusion you’ll know there’s history between him and the Golden Path, one that goes beyond dictator and rebels.

You’ll confront these demons by blasting your way through a wealth of foes, in a rogue-lite twist on Far Cry 6’s main gameWe absolutely loved Insanity, calling it “DLC done right” and praising its addictive core gameplay, so we’re have our fingers crossed that Pagan: Control will be every bit as entertaining.

Pagan: Control is set to arrive this January 11th and will, as you might expect, require the full version of Far Cry 6. You can purchase it individually, for £11.99 or, if you purchase the Far Cry 6 Season Pass for £32.99 you’ll save a few pounds and also get the final Joseph: Collapse DLC when it arrives later this year.

If you don’t have Far Cry 6, it’s currently discounted on the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store or, if you’re after the PC version (it’s not available on Steam), on Ubisoft’s Store.
