Shadow Warrior 3 Will Be Available on PS Now at Launch

Shadow Warrior 3 (1)

It seems like Sony is looking to spice up PlayStation Now a little by taking a leaf out of Xbox Game Pass’ book. Shadow Warrior 3 will be available to subscribers of the service at no extra cost on launch day.

Games coming to PS Now at launch is practically unheard of. Sony’s on-demand games service originally began life as a way for people to play PS3 titles on their modern systems via streaming. Over time, a strong library of PS4 titles were added to the service – but very few are brand new. With Shadow Warrior 3 being added on day one, then, we have to wonder if this marks a new direction for Sony and its service.

If you’re not a PS Now subscriber, you can subscribe for £49.99 for 12 months. If you’d rather pay monthly, it’ll cost £8.99.

Shadow Warrior 3 is the next entry into the popular first-person action series focusing on the antics of Lo Wang. This time, along with the help of his former nemesis Orochi Zilla, Wang has to capture an ancient dragon that he accidentally released from its eternal prison. You know, everyday sort of stuff. As usual, you can expect lots of fast-paced action as Lo Wang slashes and shoots his way through all the enemies standing in his way.

It’ll be available on 1st March, and if you don’t have PS Now, you can buy it on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Pre-ordering the game on console will also give you access to the first two games. Which are both very good, by the way.
